The wake was held at Castle Rock Brewery in Nottingham where the Harvest Pale Ale was renamed Sally Pollard for one day. Sally had a natural burial with the service conducted by her husband, Nottingham's official Robin Hood, 53-year-old Tim Pollard from Beeston. She died on June 16, aged 39, after a battle with breast cancer. The news comes after more than 200 friends and family turned out for Sally's funeral on Friday at Dale Hill in Locko Park. Around £8,000 has so far been raised for cancer charities in memory of Nottingham's Maid Marian – Sally Pollard.
